Road to resilience Session 12: Setting Goals and Solving Problems

The twelfth and final session of our methamphetamine sobriety support group is centered around the theme "Setting Goals and Solving Problems: Strengthening Self-Efficacy." As participants embark on the culmination of their journey in the support group, this session focuses on empowering individuals to take charge of their recovery and build confidence in their ability to overcome challenges. Through interactive exercises, goal-setting techniques, and problem-solving strategies, members will explore ways to define meaningful goals, identify obstacles, and develop action plans to navigate setbacks effectively. By fostering a sense of agency and self-efficacy, the session aims to instill a belief in one's capability to make positive changes and progress towards a healthy and fulfilling life beyond methamphetamine use. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their personal strengths, accomplishments, and growth throughout the support group journey, celebrating their resilience and determination in overcoming obstacles. By emphasizing the importance of self-empowerment and proactive problem-solving skills, this final session serves as a springboard for participants to continue their journey with renewed confidence, motivation, and a sense of purpose in maintaining their sobriety and overall well-being.
